Ideological affinity and shared interests between Russia and China is bringing them closer. The synergy between these two countries is likely to change old order of world diplomacy and ideological demography of the world.
Antagonism and fractured relationship between these two countries during the cold war seems to be melting away. In the last one decade China has become immensely powerful, while Russia is struggling to retain its position as superpower. Both countries have realised that till they do not join hands Western Block will not let them grow.
It is more out of compulsion of existence and one up man ship rather than change of heart that these two countries have joined hands to take on the Western Block. It seems that cold war two is likely to become the new order of international diplomacy.
