Startups in the Prefabricated Building Space Attracting Huge investments

Prefabricated Building: There is a thing about technology; it is constantly evolving according to the problem at hand. Another aspect is that it is not restricted to a particular segment or industry. The real estate sector in India has witnessed massive growth in recent years. The major factor pushing the growth has been the huge demand for housing and industrial units.

However, there is a problem with that. The problem lies with the labour sector as, despite a huge demand in the industry, lack of labour hampers the output of the sector. This has given rise to the growth in the Prefabricated Building segment because of the solution it provides to overcome the labour shortage. Other than that, it speeds up the whole construction process and meet the deadlines in project delivery.

Attracting Investment

Due to this reason, it is attracting the attention of venture capitalists and startup investors. Indian real estate sector is going through a complete transformation and new players are entering the Prefabricated Building space. This is also motivating new-age entrepreneurs and startup owners. A similar statement was given by Indian-born Singaporean businessman, social entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Dr. B K Modi at a recent event commemorating his 75th Birthday, at one of his residences in New Delhi, India.

Dr. Modi said the Indian real estate sector is very promising at this juncture and the new technology of prefabricated buildings is particularly attracting his personal interest. It is noteworthy to mention Dr. Modi also shared his intention to invest about $1 billion in Indian startups, at the event.
