Imran Khan’s PTI to hold rallies to protest against “sinking economy”

Pakistan Economy: Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) announced that the party will hold a protest against inflation and Pakistan’s “sinking economy”. PTI chairman Imran Khan will join supporters after three weeks, the party added.

According to various media reports quoting the sources from the party, protests will be led by PTI members of the national assembly in the constituencies and the movement will continue in every city.

“After three weeks, Imran Khan will announce the next plan of action,” Fawad Chaudhry, the leader of PTI.

Fawad Chaudhry also asserted the demand made earlier by Imran Khan, that elections are the “only way out”, while stressing that the idea of bringing in a technocrat government “will not be tolerated” in Pakistan.

PTI has been protesting against the price rise and other issues and demanding fresh elections through nationwide protests which also saw an assassination bid on the former PM of Pakistan Imran Khan and PTI chairman.
