Apple is gearing up to release the iPhone SE 4, with production slated to start by late 2024.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone SE 4 in the first half of 2025 as the successor to the iPhone SE (2022). According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, mass production of the device will commence in December 2024.
The fourth-generation iPhone SE is rumored to introduce a new design, aligning with the modern aesthetics of models like the iPhone 14.
It is expected to be Apple’s most affordable non-flagship smartphone.
Production and Launch Timeline
Ming-Chi Kuo from TF International Securities claims that Apple’s suppliers will begin mass production of the iPhone SE 4 in December 2024, with a projected output of 8.6 million units by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
This production schedule is consistent with Apple’s Q1 2025 launch target, as previously reported by Kuo and supported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
Design and Features of iPhone SE 4
The iPhone SE 4 is speculated to bring a significant design shift, resembling the iPhone 14 rather than the iPhone 8.
The device is expected to feature a 6.06-inch screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, Face ID support, and a single 48-megapixel rear camera.
It will likely run on Apple’s latest A18 chipset and come with 6GB or 8GB LPDDR5 RAM options.
Affordable Non-Flagship Offering
The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to be Apple’s most affordable non-flagship iPhone yet.
While still maintaining many premium features, its price is expected to make it a popular choice for budget-conscious customers seeking the Apple experience.
