Tecno is preparing to introduce its latest foldable phone in India, following the success of the Phantom V Fold 5G.
Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 5G, which made its global debut on September 13, is expected to be launched in India soon, according to a recent teaser by Tecno Mobile India on X (formerly Twitter).
The company announced that the previous version, Tecno Phantom V Fold 5G, has sold out on Amazon, but hinted that the “story does not end here,” alluding to the potential launch of its successor.
While pricing details for the Indian market remain unclear, it’s likely that the upcoming device will mirror its global variant in terms of specifications.
Phantom V Fold 2 5G Specifications
The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 5G boasts a 6.42-inch outer AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,080×2,550 pixels, and a 7.85-inch 2K+ AMOLED display on the inside.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage.
It also features a triple rear camera setup with three 50-megapixel sensors and two 32-megapixel front cameras.
Battery and Connectivity
The Phantom V Fold 2 5G is equipped with a 5,750mAh battery, supporting 70W Ultra Charge and 15W wireless charging.
For connectivity, it includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.
Additionally, it comes with several sensors, such as a gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and more, enhancing its usability and performance.
