This unique, limited-edition handset is a collaboration between Nothing and its community, culminating from the Community Edition Project that began in March.
The new model stands out with a striking glow-in-the-dark green phosphorescent design, setting it apart as a collector’s item.
Exclusive Design with Community Influence
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition was crafted with the active participation of community members, who contributed to various design aspects such as hardware, wallpaper, packaging, and marketing.
Over six months, nothing engaged with its fans, receiving over 900 entries from 47 countries, resulting in a handset that reflects the creativity and preferences of its community.
The phone sports a phosphorescent back panel that glows green in the dark, with light strips surrounding the rear cameras, adding a futuristic touch.
Price and Availability
In India, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
With only 1,000 units available, it is set to be a rare collectible.
The phone will also be available in the UK, Europe, and the US, with a similar model launched in Japan priced at JYP 55,800 (around Rs. 30,000).
